Two tales from NYAM chosen for Year’s Best Hardcore Horror

Here’s some tremendous news that I can finally announce.

“Reborn” by The Behrg and my story “Where the Sun Don’t Shine” (which first came out in NOT YOUR AVERAGE MONSTER) were named as two of the twisted tales chosen for inclusion in the YEAR’S BEST HARDCORE HORROR, VOLUME 1 by Comet Press.

All in all, this looks like the perfect anthology for folks who like their horror to be on the extreme side. 17 more tales include stories by Michael Paul Gonzalez, Jeff Strand, Adam Cesare, David James Keaton, Kristopher Triana, Lilith Morgan, Austin Muir, Adam Howe, George Palacious, MP Johnson, Monica J. O’Rourke, Jason Parent, Tony Knighton, Scott Emerson, Clare de Lune, Robert Essig & Jack Bantry, and most certainly not least George C. Cotronis.

Due out on June 1st.

  1. Reblogged this on The Behrg and commented:
Thrilled to have had one of my short stories chosen for a Year’s Best Anthology of Horror Short Stories. All the more gratifying being alongside the talented Pete Kahle.

Thanks to Pete, Randy, & Cheryl for the opportunity to be a part of this project alongside so many other talented authors.
